About us:
We believe that a rewarding career is built on impactful work and meaningful relationships.
Our mission is to provide world-class representation in high value legal markets, and to leverage our for-profit practice to provide public interest services in areas vital to a just society: systemic racism and bias, gender equity, LGBTQ rights, socio-economic inequity, disparate treatment in housing and community investment, protection of refugees and asylum seekers, voting rights, and environmental justice.
Our firm does not seek to maximize firm profits; instead, we provide sufficient compensation to a group of employees and partners that creates a platform enabling them to work for the public interest. Associates are expected to spend between 25% and 50% of their time on public interest causes supported by the partnership.
To Apply: Please send a resumeto contact@bakerthomaslaw.com. Cover letters are welcome, but not required with an initial application package. If included, we expect that a cover letter would describe your experience and commitment to serving the public interest and underrepresented communities, the public interest topic most important to you, and your personal feelings about serving corporate as well as public interest clients.
